Matan is the Israeli representative of United Way Worldwide, established in the USA 125 years ago and now active across the world.
The global organization’s goals are to leverage resources and skills held by companies and their employees, and from donors, towards developing and promoting social responsibility. United Way Israel as represented by Matan is an active member in the European United Way network.
Membership in the global network enables Matan access to knowledge, the chance to familiarize with innovative programs, and direct contact with similar organizations elsewhere. The connections among international organizations encourage partnerships on a global scale.
United Way believes that every contribution is an investment which should be based on a feasibility assessment, and structuring joint ventures that can promote areas relating to education, health, and exiting the cycle of poverty by promoting income earning options. The United Way perspective is broad and inclusive.
United Way was chosen by Forbes magazine as the leading US association.
In November 2016, Matan was honored to host United Way representatives from Europe and the US for a 3 day conference.

Wanting to expand the scope of activities and professional knowledge, Matan seeks active collaborative ventures with leading social responsibility organizations worldwide.
CSR 360 GLOBAL PARTNER NETWORK
This global network was set up by the British BITC group, Business In The Community. The network comprises some 100 organizations from 60 countries, operating in the field of social responsibility, primarily linking businesses with communities to create social change.
INTERNATIONAL YOUTH FOUNDATION
Matan is part of the international network of organizations working to develop and promote the populations of children and youth in their countries. Some 200 organizations worldwide are members in a network that is a great example of social responsibility activated by individuals, companies and countries.
NGOsource
This organization assists American donors and foundations interested in contributing to international organizations. NGOsource simplifies the process by providing ED (equivalency determination) certification. Having received the certificate, Matan is recognized by NGOsource as a US Public Charity.
